Who We Are & What We Believe

A Wellington-based practice devoted to helping adults eat with awareness, compassion, and a sense of ease.

Our Philosophy

Food is more than fuel. It carries memory, culture, comfort, and connection. Mindful eating honours all of that — without turning meals into a performance or a test.

Founded in Karori, Wellington, our coaching practice supports individuals who want to step out of automatic eating patterns and into a more present relationship with food. We do not prescribe meal plans, restrict food groups, or track numbers. Instead, we offer tools, conversation, and quiet space to notice what is already happening at your table.

How Sessions Work

Coaching sessions are conversational and unhurried. We may explore your pre-meal rituals, discuss environmental triggers, or practice the sensory check-in together. Each session is shaped by what you bring — there is no fixed curriculum to complete.

Sessions are available in person at our Karori location or via video call for clients across New Zealand.

What Makes This Different

No Scoring Systems

We do not rank your meals, count bites, or assign points. Progress is measured in awareness, not achievement.

Your Timeline

Change unfolds gradually. We respect your pace and never push urgency or deadlines around eating habits.

Neutral Language

Foods are not labelled moral categories. We speak about nourishment, preference, and sensation — not virtue or failure.

Rooted in Wellington

Our practice is based at 87 Messines Road, Karori — a quiet suburb where many of our clients live and eat daily. We understand the rhythms of local life: quick lunches between meetings, family dinners, weekend markets, and the pull of convenience.

Mindful eating adapts to your reality, not the other way around.
